cron jobs - say something before die()

It seems that when a script die()s, it does not generate any output - running it from the command line produces nothing and running it from the cronjob does not produce email in case cron mail is configured. All cron scripts have the code that manages KB_HOME, and that code die()s if unable to do it...

Re: EDK Database - Incursion 1.1.0 Rev 1.1

The converted datadump for incursion 1.5 is already available from the usual place. An update for the edk database with quafe zero and new skillbooks would be much appreciated.

Re: MOD: Update all values from eve-central

Faction prices at http://prices.c0rporation.com/faction.xml seems to be not working (it redirects to https://admin.c0rporation.com/faction.xml with invalid sertificate, and even if sertificate warning is ignored, there is net::ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR error). Is there any alternative way of updating f...

Re: include problems

The result of my research on my problem: There are two cases: 1) accessing the killboard from the web open_basedir = /home/httpd/vhosts/myhost/httpdocs:/tmp basedir allows for file system operation under httpdocs which is just fine, but there are some problems with relative file names even if the wo...

Re: include problems

It seems that one of the tricks that allows IPB to work in my idiotic environment is this: The index.php contains the following code (notice the "./" part): require_once( './init.php' ); The init.php contains the following code: define( 'ROOT_PATH', dirname( __FILE__ ) ."/" ); Absolutely all other f...

Re: include problems

The file permissions seem to be fine. At least they are the same as two days ago, when the hosting provider upgraded the PHP. The error log is filled with "PHP Notice: Undefined property" (example "PHP Notice: Undefined property: Parser::$needs_final_blow_ in /home/httpd/vhosts/myhost/httpdocs/killb...

include problems

Hosting provider silently upgraded the PHP and changed its configuration. The result is these warning in the error log for each and every attemp to access the killboard. [Sat Nov 28 17:41:18 2009] [error] [client x.x.x.x] PHP Warning: include_once(kbconfig.php) [<a href='function.include-once'>funct...

Re: MOD: Update all values from eve-central

settings.php (line 8) uses DateTime class which is PHP 5.2+. If this line is modified to use something else than the mod will work with PHP 5.1 too.

Re: feature request: cronjob mails only in the case of problems

Some additional considerations: The best possible way it should be done is with the additional configuration option that can be set to one of the following values: 1) do not send mail at all The killboard admin will have to check the "auditing" page to see what is going on. 2) send mail on failures ...
