killboard/cache/update/ size

Post by delakut »

The folder killboard/cache/update/ has already 357 mb and is growing. I have two killboards running that makes about 700 MB on update files. Do I really need all update and backup files under killboard/cache/update/? Maybe it's possible to reduce the saved updates to the last 2 or 3 update files?

Hi,

do you have the cron_clearup.php cron job set up to run regularly?

Hi,

you could call it manually a few days after it has been executed automatically to check if it's working properly. In its log it provides information on what it deleted.
You can also change the parameters it uses for cleaning up. Simply open the cron_clearup.php file and you'll see some settings at the top.
You could reduce the maximum allowed object cache size or the maximum age for cached images.

Best Regards,
